A FEW COMMON QUESTIONS

  1. If one becomes a part of the Fellowship, must he/she change the name of their church?

    •  NO

  2.  If I hold a title/position in another fellowship or reformation, will that title be transferable to Prayer Deliverance Fellowship International?

    •  Titles earned and recognized in another fellowship will be honored but not transferable to the Fellowship. The term “Overseer” is usually precluded with “general”, “state” and/or “district”. Overseers are appointed and installed for service and therefore credentials from another reformation will not be accepted. They are not consecrated to perform their duties, but must be properly trained.

    • A Bishop in the Fellowship is “a consecrated member of the Fellowship who is entrusted with a position of authority and oversight.”  When a Bishop with a credential from another Reformation approaches the Fellowship about joining, for the first-time, they join as an Adjunct Bishop to the Fellowship, which is a category reserved for individuals credentialed as a Bishop by another Reformation, who desire to be considered for full assimilation into the Bishopric of Prayer Deliverance Fellowship International. 3.  Must one leave their present affiliation to be a part of the PDFI?

    • NO. We are a Fellowship that comes together to fellowship with the Lord and each other. You can very well do both. We believe that it is very important that the “walls of tradition” come down. Let us add to what is encouraging by allowing others to see what God is doing through the Prayer Deliverance Fellowship International, which is coming together in One Spirit in the Body of Christ.

  4. Can I join as an individual

    • PDFI is a Fellowship of Churches and Ministries, therefore one must have a covering.  If you are a Pastor or if you have a ministry, you and congregation are welcomed and encouraged to apply for membership

  5. Does the size of my local church have any bearing on my acceptance to the fellowship?

    • NO, the size of your congregation does not have any bearing on whether you are accepted into the Prayer Deliverance Fellowship International.  We only ask for that information in the Membership Application to help us understand the covering that is needed for you and your ministry

  6. What is the application process?

    • There is No Application Fee to unite with PDFI

      • Complete and submit the Prayer Deliverance Fellowship International Membership Application.

      • Submit a copy of your Church/Ministry supporting documents including credentials

      • Once received, applications are then submitted to the appropriate Credentials Commission or its representatives for review and acceptance.

      • Applicants will be contacted by the Fellowship for a consultation with regard to the application.

        • Once the applications have been approved, the organization will be informed and will receive a credential of membership from the Fellowship Office

          • Those who desire a position within PDFI and have been approved will be required to undergo s a background check (both criminal and sexual) through Data Facts which is $75.00    (non-refundable)

  7. What fees are my church/ministry responsible for as a member of the Prayer Deliverance Fellowship International?

    • Reports and Credential Fees vary per position/title which are given twice a year:

    • Credential Fees due March

    • Church Reports due in June
